You are probably aware that due to COVID-19 the club will remain closed until further notice

Latest Covid-19 Announcements

As promised from our last blog we said we would update you on membership renewals.

With guidance from ACC there were several options put on the table.

A virtual text meeting took place with a vote on which option to take it was option five.

That is all paid up members for year 2020 will be valid for the year 2021 and to be renewed January 2022 .

Put in plain English no subs will be collected this year and hope to see you all when the government says it safe to do so.

Just a reminder even though the club is closed work still goes on behind the scenes and a big thank you must go to our honorary treasurer S B for chasing up grants available to us to help keep the club on a financial footing for when we open again

When the club is able to open again the rules below will still apply but they are subject to government review at any time.

Important information for Club Members.

To ensure our club premises remains a safe and protected environment for our members,

We have followed all the necessary guidelines set out by the government.

To ensure our club premises remains a safe and protected environment for our members the layout of the club has changed please look out for the arrows indicating the one way system.

There are some significant changes to the procedures in the club:

Anyone entering the club will need to wear a face mask and only can be removed when seated there will be no bar service, only table service from now on, if you need to go to the toilet, or pay for your drinks, or go anywhere on the club premises you will have to put your mask back on.

You will need to print your name on track and trace form which will be destroyed after 21 days.

A social distancing rule of two metres will be required inside the club were designated walkways are visible and seating positioned in a specified layout and not to be moved.

The toilets will be opened to one person at a time, to require the social distances.

There are hand sanitiser stations in various locations around the club so please use them.

A risk assessment have been done on the premises and the certificate is on the notice board.

Opening hours our reduced for the near future and they will be reviewed on a fortnightly basis.

The club opening hours are as follows Sundays 12 noon To 4pm,

Monday to Saturday 6:30 pm to 10pm. (the bar will close 9:30pm)

Snooker is available to club members only you need to phone bar manager to book a time and table to play.

Guest will be permitted into the club subject to availability, club rules state they can come to Club as a guest twice after that if they still want to use the club they will have to become a member.

Dear members, just a reminder Wednesday 4th of November will be the last bingo until the government declares the lockdown is over.

We will let you know when bingo will start again as soon as we know

The club car park is available to all for match day car parking when Exeter city play their Saturday home matches.

This year the club is raising funds for a Defibrillator to be purchased & installed at the club

Defibrillation is a treatment for life-threatening cardiac dysrhythmias, specifically ventricular fibrillation (VF) and non-perfusing ventricular tachycardia (VT). A defibrillator delivers a dose of electric current (often called a countershock) to the heart.

Having a Defibrillator can be life saving.... please give generously.

Polsloe and Priory social club are pleased to announce that a emergency defibrillator has been installed inside the club lobby, it is available for emergency use to the public at opening times 6.30 pm to 11pm Mondays to Saturday.
